  • Sitar Journeys

This solo-album of Harry Payuta is the follower of the 2003 released CD »Sitar Movements«. The approx. 10-minute tracks starts very calm and turn to danceable rhythms. In a way each track is a journey through musical landscapes or spheres. The Indian Sitar again in the very special sound between India and western musical tradition created by Harry Payuta.

  • Kalabalik

Wonderful CD from Piirpauke with 10 tracks + 2 bonus tracks. Length more then 66 min. Be prepared to listen to the world fusion as it's best!

  • For his groundbreaking first solo CD, Willy assembled 40 players, from India’s master musicians to American virtuosi Howard Levy and Paul Wertico, to produce (with Warren Senders) what Rolling Stone called “[...] a many-layered fusion of folksong-writing, social criticism, as well as eastern wisdom, of Irish, Indian, and Caribbean blasts – all with disarming innocence”.

  • The album is based on the analogy of wine as the symbol of ‘timelessness’ as well as the core of Georgian culture. Poured in the horn, called kantsi, according to the tradition, it stays to remind us about the the musical bouquet, light tones, and dancing atmosphere awaiting for our enjoyment.

  • Pangramm

Voted a decade ago as Europe's best keyboard player, Jasper Van't Hof has hauled his multifarious keyboards out of the garage. These include the Korg M1, Kawai CD5, Roland M-CD1, Korg P3+SDD and the DRV 2000 among others - a veritable historic collection! Out of love for experimentation, beyond the melodiousness of calculated music-making, he's joined with Swiss drummer Fredy Studer to create a couragious, joyously experimental CD – "Pangramm".

  • Koli

“Koli” entered World Music Charts Europe in September 2010 at Number 2, climbed to Number 1 spot in October and to Number 7 in November. A Finnish artist hasn’t been at Number 1 on the chart for several years. This is also the fi rst Number 1 position of Piirpauke’s history. "Koli" topped Number 6 in German Charts in October 2010!

  • On this album Harry Payuta has his Sitar style even more ”westernized” and developed more options for changing harmony, which with this modal instrument in the traditional indian way of playing is not possible. Work on ZACATECOLUCA took place in Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador. Harry Payuta‘s current residence El Salvador and collaboration with musicians from Centro-America has also, of course, left unmistakable traces of Latin America.

  • After 8 years of waiting, Willy Schwarz comes to surprise us with another original album. Similarly to a river, it draws its influences from different thematic and stylistic confluents: a bluesy tale of Murat Kurmaz, a soul version of a Gypsy love song, a music version of a dialog between God and Adam, an old Yiddish love wail, a song about the largest still-standing bunker from the World War 2nd, a classic 60s Dylan-like protest song, and a tender Swedish Christmas carol.
