Daley, the amazing tuba player with Hazmat Modine will release his large ensemble masterpiece "The Seven Deadly Sins" inspired by the paintings of Wade Schuman. The big band titles are skillfully crafted by this composer who has a 40 year background performing and studying with today's greatest musicians. Release is scheduled for fall 2010.

Happy music with a smile made in Portugal. Their first European tour summer 2010 made them already to stars of teh world-music circuits. TV recrodings for German majot TV channel ARD and ARTE , the German/French culture channel shows the rising interest in the band.
HAZMAT MODINE
CICADA (JARO 4292-2); their new album is in preparation (prospective release: January 2011). It includes a few of the songs they have been performing in the past years, such as: “So Glad,” “2.47” (composed for the Japanese movie Tokyo Joe), and “I Have Been Lonely for So Long,” as well as a number of brand new tracks, for example “Child of a Blindman,” “Mocking Bird,” “Cicada,” and “The Tide.” Among the well-known guests featured on this CD are Nathalie Merchant (formerly of 10,000 Manicas), the Kronos Quartet, Huun-Huur-Tu, and the Gangbe Brass Band. The famous writer Elizabeth Gilbert, a friend of Wade Schuman’s, collaborated with him on the lyrics for “Child of a Bilndman.” The melodies are woven into a tapestry of sound collages from all over the world. .
